The Girl Who Paints Heaven

The story about The Girl Who Paints Heaven is a very amazing story. Her name is Akiane Kramarik. Today is the first time that I have read anything about it. The video I watched was of her on the Katie show.

She is now 18, but has seen visions of Heaven, and started hearing Heavenly voices, since she was only four years old. The most amazing part to me is that both of her parents are self claimed atheists or agnostics, according to her Father Mark Kramarik. Also amazing is the fact that she had never even been told about God, Heaven, Jesus, or the Angels.

According to the video that I saw, some of her paintings are worth more that $1,000,000. She first started painting when she was 6 years old, but has been drawing since she was four. Her parents home schooled her. She would get up at 4:30 AM, and start painting at 5:00 AM , every morning, Monday thru Saturday, and do the art for about three hours. Her talent is awesome, considering that she is self taught on her painting abilities.

To date, she has done around 200 paintings.

I hope that you find this to be as awesome as I have.

“Peace Day” – August 21, 2015 – McWhopper Fiasco

I just read an article, about the McWhopper Fiasco, on my friend’s website, Tasty Here is the link.

The story is about a proposal from Burger King to McDonald’s, for them to come together as friends and not rivals on “Peace Day” 2015. The article goes into detail about the proposal and my friend’s reactions to McDonald’s response.

After reading the article, I could not help but to remember about a similar incident in a movie. Many many people love and watch this movie, every year at Thanksgiving, without fail. I wrote a paragraph about it below, as the best example that I could think of to demonstrate two rivals coming together for a common cause.

In the movie “Miracle On 34th Street”, two of the biggest stores in New York, Macy’s and Gimbel’s, came together and started operating as friends instead of enemies. I say as friends, because they didn’t actually merge in the movie, they would just tell their customers if the other store was selling an item that they did not carry, or that they were out of at the time. In the movie, Macy’s did not have a pair of roller skates that a little girl told the Macy’s Santa that she wanted for Christmas. Well. The Santa knew that Gimbel’s had them for sale. He was able to get the Mother away from the little girl and tell her where to find the skates. When the word got out about the “helpful” Santa at Macy’s, Gimbel’s decided to approach Macy’s and see if the two stores could start telling their customers which store had what items for sale. Let’s say, (I’m saying this, it wasn’t in the movie) Macy’s would tell their customer if Gimbel’s had bedroom slippers for the man of the house that they didn’t have, and Gimbel’s would tell their customer if Macy’s had a particular nightie that they didn’t have. They were working together peacefully as friends instead of enemies.

“Peace Day” is a very important start to what could be a world changing event. It is possible that “Peace Day” could one day be observed and celebrated in many countries all over the world. Wouldn’t that be something? If other countries were to celebrate a day of the observance of peace. A day where, for at least a period of 24 hours, there were no gun shots, no bombs, no grenades, no torpedoes, or any other explosive device being shot off, and no screams from stabbings. If there was absolute quiet from these types of noises

I am a dreamer and an optimist. My dreams would take it a step further and visualize all of the countries that observed “Peace Day” liking it so much that they would see just how long the peace could or would last.  It would be a nice thing to measure how many days or weeks or months that could pass without the horrible noises. If everybody would realize that it’s the violence that kills so many people, then there could absolutely be a change toward world peace. Just think about how many families and whole communities and possibly even civilizations have been wiped out due to the violence. It is my hope and prayer that “Peace Day” will continue for many many years.

Little Girl Is The Victim Of Terrible Child Abuse

I will put this notice on my post from now on, every time that I copy a post from Facebook, so all of my readers will know that this is not my work, but that of someone else. This, like so many of my posts have, came from Facebook.  This post came from San Francisco Globe.

Little Girl Is The Victim Of Terrible Child Abuse

Addison Weast was only 16 months old when she was rushed to a hospital with severe injuries. The person who was supposed to be taking care of her, 24-year-old Cody Geddings, said that Addison had fallen from her bed and suffered injuries. However, hospital staff knew that the injuries Addison suffered from were caused by something much worse, so they called the police. Tragically, doctors were unable to save Addison’s life.Eventually, Geddings was charged with and convicted of killing Addison. During their investigation, police discovered that Geddings had an extremely violent history; he was charged with 2nd degree murder and is currently incarcerated. Though he was Addison’s step-father at the time of the incident, he and her mother have since gotten a divorce.

Every 10 seconds an act of child abuse is reported in the United States, and the worst thing parents can do is ignore the problem when they see it happening. Don’t let Addison’s life have been taken in vain – report child abuse to keep this from happening again.
Watch the video below to see photos and hear the points of view of Addison’s family. If her story touched you, please pass this on so that others can be made aware of the devastating nature of child abuse.

Mary Did You Know

Pentatonix is sending chills down everyone’s spine with their beautiful rendition of “Mary Did You Know.” Their arrangement on this already beautiful song is putting everyone in the Christmas spirit with their unique style a cappella style. This song was originally written in 1984 by Mark Lowry and has been redone by many artists. No doubt, this version will become a favorite of many!

I have loved this song ever since the first time I ever heard it. Here is a rendition by

Pentatonix. I hope you enjoy it. I got it off of Facebook.

How To Make Lipstick From Crayons

In this video, Kelsey Bobian explains how you can easily make lipstick at home using crayons. At first, I was skeptical and thought that crayon lipstick might have negative health effects. Kelsey quickly dispelled my worries as she points out that crayons are made from paraffin wax and non-toxic pigments. In comparison to all the chemicals that are used to make most beauty products, crayons are a very safe alternative!

The other ingredient that really makes this crayon lipstick appealing is coconut oil. The crayons are melted into the coconut oil to give the lipstick a smooth, creamy texture that’s perfect for spreading. Even if lipstick isn’t really your thing, you could start using coconut oil as an alternative to store-bought lip moisturizers. A bottle of coconut oil generally sells for about ten dollars, but can be used for any number of purposes. It is not only a great moisturizer for your lips, but the rest of your skin and your hair as well. A tiny bit of coconut oil mixed into your conditioner can do wonders to bring a healthy, natural shine back to your hair.
We at SF Globe love seeing really clever life-hacks like this one that use such easy to find ingredients. Make sure to watch the video below to see Kelsey’s process for making the lipstick and to get a glimpse of what the end result looks like!
