DR JOHN ROGERS

 

He ran the race.

He fought the good fight,

And now the victory has been won.

No longer is he in pain.

He’s in Heaven with his Lord,

A grand and glorious thing.

He’s living in his mansion,

Walking on the streets of gold,

Just as the Bible foretold,

And he’s talking with his Heavenly Father.

 

John was such a dear friend,

Now, I’ll never see him here again.

My heart is sad and my eyes full of tears,

Because I am going to miss John so very much.

But they are looking on me from above,

And holding me in their arms of love.
