ELIZABETH  (Todd Garvey)

 

Elizabeth from this world has passed,

To walk the streets of gold at last.

She’s with her Heavenly Father above,

Where she’s receiving abundant love.

She’s in her mansion, as pretty as can be,

Just waiting very patiently.

She’s waiting for when all of her family she’ll see,

But only God knows when that will be.

 

Your eyes are full of tears,

and your hearts are very sad.

But it really shouldn’t be this way,

For you have fond memories

to make you glad.

 

And you know that only a shell

in the grave will stay.

Her heart and soul

went to heaven straight away.

And you also know that your

Father above,

Will reach down and hold you

in His arms of Love,

To get you through the hard days.
