LADYBUG

Ladybug, I loved you so.

It was really hard to let you go.

But you could hardly breathe,

and in so much pain.

That like that I could not

let you remain.

So I did what for you I felt was best.

Now you are finally well,

and at rest.

Snuggles and I will miss you,

so very much.

Because both of our lives

you did touch.

Right now I’m hurting

and really sad.

I’ll have to call on my memories

to make me glad.

Regularly I’ll visit your retiring place.

Some of the emptiness

to help replace.
