After the obituary, I have written a memorial poem. I was a Job’s Daughter in Bethel 46 in Norfolk, Virginia when I was growing up. I stayed a member until I became a Majority Member and later got married and moved to Kentucky. Kentucky does not have Job’s Daughters, they have Rainbow Girls, so I was not able to continue with Job’s Daughters activities. I loved it when I was in it.

Elizabeth Brock Sauls

Norfolk – Elizabeth Brock Sauls, 91, passed away on February 16, 2015.

A Norfolk native, Mrs. Sauls retired from AT&T as a telephone operator. She was a member of Azalea Baptist Church and Past Guardian of Bethel No. 46 of Job’s Daughters.

Survivors include four children, Jacqueline Clark, Bob Sauls, Richard Sauls and wife, Joy, and Joan Tatsak; six grandchildren, Stephen Clark and wife Lisa, Adam, Kari and Kelli Sauls, Jessica and Cassie Tatsak; two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Abigail Clark; and one sister, Joyce Bennett.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 21, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Azalea Baptist Church on Little Creek Road where a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach.

Involved in our lives.

Beautiful Mom to us.

Busy with all of our activities.

You are one of our best memories.

We all loved you so very much, all our lives you did touch.

Our eyes are full of tears, and our hearts are sad.

You were part of our lives for so many years.

For all of the fond memories we are glad.

We know that only a shell in the grave will stay.

Your heart and soul went to Heaven straight away.

We know our Father above will help us get through every day.

For he will reach down and hold us in His arms of love.

You will always be in our hearts.
