A different way to make apple pie! Sounds good to me!

2 pie crusts
1/2 cup butter
3 TBSP flour
1/4 C water
1/2 C white sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
6-8 apples (depending on size) I used Honey Crisp and Winesaps

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peel and slice apples and mound up in bottom pie crust. In saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour to make a paste. Stir in water, cinnamon and both sugars. Cook on low until thoroughly mixed
Pour syrup over apples. Cover with top crust, cut slits for ventilation
Cook for 50-60 minutes or until apples are soft and crust is golden brown.
Yummy! Serve with ice cream (and a slice of cheese?)
